Business analysis software vendor Hyperion has announced the promotion of Karl Mouantri to the position of vice president of its APAC (Asia, Pacific, Australia and Central America) region. Mouantri previously held the post of Managing Director of Hyperion Corporation Japan.
“I’m delighted to accept this role. This is an exciting time to take leadership of Hyperion’s APAC region," says Mouantri. "Hyperion is focusing on financial management, customer analysis and custom analytic applications built on our market-leading Hyperion Essbase technology. As more and more of our products become available in local languages we see a great opportunity for Hyperion to establish the position of market leader in Asia that it enjoys in other parts of the world.”
Mouantri has been Hyperion since 1989 when he worked in the company's then European headqaurters in Italy. In 1995 he moved to Singapore where he established the company's Asia Pacific headquarters. In addition he has been the driving force for the expansion and establishment of additional direct offices in Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.
