Deutsche Bank creates Asia executive team

German group's new co-heads of corporate banking and securities for Asia Pacific, Michael Ormaechea and Bhupinder Singh, have named their management team for the region.
The move is the first major initiative by Deutsche Bank's co-heads of corporate banking and securities in Asia Pacific, and helps put their stamp on the bank.

Deutsche Bank's co-heads of corporate banking and securities in Asia Pacific, Michael Ormaechea and Bhupinder Singh, have created an executive committee for the region.

The move is their first major initiative after the two assumed their roles in August and helps put their stamp on the bank. The committee, which will be co-chaired by Ormaechea and Singh, will be responsible for corporate governance, establishing and achieving objectives and ensuring that key messages are communicated to staff.  

According to a memo seen by FinanceAsia, the new senior team at Deutsche Bank is as follows:  

Henry Cai – Head, corporate banking and securities China  

Rob Ebert – head, institutional client group, equity Asia  

Dixit Joshi – head, equities APAC  

David Lynne – head, fixed income currencies and commodities, Asia  

Rohit Malhotra – head, structuring, APAC  

Doug Morton – co-head, corporate finance, Asia, and head of investment banking coverage & advisory, Asia  

Chetan Shah – head, structured finance, Asia  

Michael Spencer – head, research, Asia  

Venky Vishwanathan – co-head, corporate finance Asia, and head, CMTS Asia  

Michael Connolly – head, corporate banking and securities, APAC  

Jim Freeman – co-COO, corporate banking and securities, Asia  

Saurabh Jain – co-COO, corporate banking and securities, Asia  

Mayur Ghelani – head, relationship management, Asia
