The equity capital markets boasted a total of $685 million raised from 10 deals, bumping up year-to-date volume to $24.6 billion from 197 issues. Citi continues to lead the league table rankings with $3.1 billion, followed by JPMorgan ($2 billion) and UBS ($1.9 billion).
The $400 million convertible bond for LDK Solar was the largest issue of the week and was led by JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS. China Zaino International raised $63 million via DBS and Stirling Coleman Capital.
Debt Capital Markets
The debt capital markets were quiet -- there were no trades this week. The league table rankings remained unchanged with HSBC sitting at the top with $1.4 billion, followed by Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers with $764 million and $664 million apiece.
