Dealogic League Table Roundup April 10

Both equity capital markets and debt capital markets saw a lull in activity this week

Equity Capital Markets
A total of $1.3 billion has been raised in the Asian equity capital market this week through 15 deals, compared to the $7.8 billion raised in the same period last week.

The largest deal of the week is Humanwell Healthcare Group’s $418 million follow-on through Donghai Securities and TF Securities. The deal is also the largest Asia ex Japan healthcare sector ECM transaction since CSPC Pharmaceutical Group’s $484 million follow-on in May 2014.

Asia ex Japan healthcare ECM volume totals $2.5 billion so far this year, the strongest start to a year on record and up 23% year-on-year.

Another notable deal slated to price today is the estimated $1 billion selldown in Habib Bank by the Pakistan government. If completed successfully, the deal would be the largest ECM transaction in Pakistan on record.

Goldman Sachs leads the bookrunner ranking with $5 billion for 2015 YTD. UBS and CITIC Securities followed with $4.4 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively.
