Asia (ex-Japan) ECM volume stands at $209m via 5 deals so far this week (5 follow-ons) down from the $6.4bn via 50 deals completed in the previous week.
On October 3, Malaysia Airports Holdings completed a $113m follow-on via Maybank and Credit Suisse, the largest Asia (ex-Japan) ECM transaction this week.
Asia (ex-Japan) Transportation ECM volume stands at $11.0bn via 53 deals so far this year, up from $7.6bn via 35 deals in 2016 YTD. Follow-on accounts for 65% of total volume with $7.2bn via 27 deals so far in 2017, up from the $6.1bn raised in the same 2016 period.
CITIC Securities leads the ECM league table with $9.9 bn in 2017 YTD, followed by Goldman Sachs with $8.3bn and China International Capital Corp is third with $8.2bn.

Asia (ex-Japan) issuers have tapped the G3 markets for $680m via 2 deals this week, down from the $8.5bn raised last week (16 deals).
This marks the second lowest weekly volume this year behind the week of 30th January ($606.5m).
HSBC leads the G3 DCM league table in 2017 YTD with $22.3bn. This is followed by Citi with $17.9bn and Standard Chartered Bank with $13.6bn.
