Asia (ex Japan) ECM volume stands at $1.7bn via 21 deals so far this week compared to the $2.3bn via 23 deals completed in the previous week.
Chinese issuer iQIYI completed a $650m convertible via Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan in what is the largest Asia (ex Japan) ECM transaction this week.
Asia (ex Japan) TMT volume stands at $60.8bn via 277 deals in 2018 YTD, up 26% from the $48.2bn raised in the same period last year and marks the highest YTD volume since 2014. Chinese issuers account for 84% of the total issuance volume ($51.2bn via 109 deals), maintaining its record as highest TMT issuer since 2010.
Goldman Sachs leads Asia (ex Japan) ECM market with $16.1bn, followed by Citi with $12.6bn and Morgan Stanley with $11.7bn.

Asia (ex Japan) international DCM volume stands at $5.1bn via 19 deals so far this week compared to $6.9bn via 18 deals in the previous week.
Indian issuer Power Finance and Chinese issuer China State Construction Finance each issued a bond with $500m proceeds in what is the largest Asia (ex Japan) international DCM transaction this week. Power Finance issued via Barclays, MUFG, and Standard Chartered; China State Construction Finance issued via ABC, BNPP, BOCI, CCB, China International Capital Corp, Guotai Junan, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, and Orient Securities.
In Asia (ex Japan) International DCM, Finance volume reached $135.2bn via 437 deals. Volume is down 26% from the $183.6bn raised in the same period last year. On the other hand, number of deal reached its highest YTD record compared to 398 deals priced in the same period last year.
HSBC leads the Asia(ex Japan) international DCM league with $25.6bn. This is followed by Citi with $17.5bn and Standard Chartered Bank with $15.5bn.
