Asia (ex Japan) issuers have raised $6.8 billion through 41 deals this week, on par with the $6.8 billion via 40 deals priced in the previous week.
The largest deal of the week is CRRC Corp’s $1.8 billion Chinese A-share private placement through bookrunners UBS and China International Capital Corp.
Chinese issuers are currently leading the global ECM volume with a total of $15.9 billion in 2017 YTD. US and France follow with $9.5 billion and $1.9 billion, respectively.
Haitong Securities leads the ECM league table with $2.4 billion in 2017 YTD. China Securities and CITIC Securities complete the top three with $2.2 billion and $1.6 billion, respectively.

Debt Capital Markets
17 Asian issuers have tapped the G3 debt capital markets for a total of $15.2 billion, more than triple the $4.9 billion issued last week via 10 deals.
The largest deal of the week is a $4.0 billion USD and EUR-denominated Non-US Agency deal by China Development Bank Corp through a consortium of 15 bookrunners.
China leads the Asia G3 DCM volume with $11.1 billion in 2017 YTD, followed by Philippines and South Korea with $6.0 billion and $2.5 billion, respectively.
JPMorgan leads the DCM league table with $2.6 billion in 2017 YTD, followed by Citi and Goldman Sachs with $2.4 billion and $2.1 billion, respectively.
