BNP Paribas appoints head of Asia-Pacific ratings advisory

The French bank has hired Vijay Jote to be its new head of ratings advisory for Asia Pacific.

BNP Paribas has hired Vijay Jote as its new head of ratings advisory for Asia-Pacific, within debt capital markets, according to a source familiar with the matter. Jote was previously a credit strategist for Citi private bank and worked at the bank for four years. His last day was on Friday.

Jote is expected to join BNP Paribas in October where he will be dealing with companies seeking ratings and he will also support new bond issues in the ratings process.
