Citi won the mandate after offering a customised end-to-end solution, from data collection, document preparation, export LC processing to collection of sales proceeds.
The entire process, prepared documents and collection status can be viewed and monitored by Dow via CitiÆs internet platform, CitiDirect Online Banking as well as a full suite of tailor-made management reports.
Andrew Au, head of Citi's global commercial bank in Asia-Pacific, says: ôDow has given Citi a strong vote of confidence.ö He adds that Citi and Dow had a working relationship that goes back over 80 years and the mandate marks an important milestone in a long-term partnership.
