Jaline Han motors to Deutsche

Firm names new director of Hong Kong institutional client group.
Jaline Han has moved from Merrill Lynch to Deutsche BankÆs global markets institutional clients group (ICG). From its Hong Kong offices, she takes on the title of director of ICG in Hong Kong with immediate effect and will report directly to Matthew Ho, head of ICG in Hong Kong.

In her new role, Han will service financial and institutional clients, which consist of banks, insurance companies and asset managers, across asset classes including credit and structured credits including high yield, interest rate, equities and derivatives products in Hong Kong. Her appointment comes as in response to strong demand from DeutscheÆs client for greater coverage of structured and derivatives products, of which the bank is a leading player.

ôJaline is an important addition to the team with more than eight years of solid experience in advising banks, asset managers and corporations on cash and derivatives products,ö says Ho. ôWe see strong demand from clients on a wide spectrum of structured and derivatives products which Deutsche Bank is a leading provider. Her appointment further strengthens our client coverage position.ö

Upon arriving on Deutsche, Han takes over the roll from Wan-Sze Low, who will take on a role within the firm for credit sales for hedge funds.

At Merrill Lynch, Han held the title of vice president in the investor client group. To Deutsche, she also brings experience from Bayerische Hypo-und Vereinsbank, Credit Suisse and JPMorgan.
