Simmons & Simmons boosts corporate practice

The firm hires Jack Su as a foreign legal consultant.

Jack Su has joined Simmons & Simmons as a foreign legal consultant in the firm's Hong Kong corporate practice. He joins from Shearman & Sterling where he was a special attorney. Prior to that he worked with Vivendi Water Asia where he was a senior vice president and the firm's legal counsel.

His work over the past decade has seen him focus on water and power projects in China, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. These projects have entailed more than $2 billion of finance. In his new position at Simmons, Su will focus on projects work and M&A, particularly cross-border deals.
