Dealogic league table roundup, March 6

Equity capital markets activity continues at a trickle.

Equity Capital Markets

The equity capital markets held steady this week with $149 million raised from six issues - pushing year-to-date volume over the $10 billion mark. Bank of America-Merrill Lynch continues to hold on to the top league table ranking with $1.93 billion, followed closely behind by UBS on $1.87 billion and Morgan Stanley with $1.7 billion.

Pusan Bank's $131 million fully-marketed deal was the biggest issue of the week and led by Daewoo Securities, HI Investment & Securities and Mirae Asset Securities.

A couple of large deals are scheduled to price next week - a $1.2 billion rights offer for Singapore's CapitaLand via bookrunners Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, DBS and J.P. Morgan; and Shinhan Financial Group's $1.2 billion rights issue led by BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan and UBS.

Debt Capital Markets

The debt capital markets reverted to silence again with zero trades this week. Barclays Capital and UBS share the top ranking in the league table with $1.5 billion apiece, while Deutsche Bank and HSBC sit in equal third place on $1.3 billion each.
