Executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has hired Mark Young at help launch its dedicated wealth and asset management coverage. Young will take on the role of divisional director based in the Hong Kong office.
The new position will entail close interaction between Young and: Patrick Morrissey, global head of wealth and asset management at Sheffield Haworth's London offices and New York based Kathy Tompkins, head of wealth and asset management in the US.
Managing director Toby Crosthwaite says, "We see tremendous growth opportunities in Asia and this is an exciting development for our team in Hong Kong... We envisage the wealth and asset management sector being a strong growth area throughout Asia."
Prior to this role, Young was formally in fixed sales at Nomura in London. He has also worked in institutional sales for HSBC.
