Saxo Bank appoints FX manager in Singapore

The online investment bank names Jeremy Kang as senior manager for FX in Singapore.
The online investment bank, Saxo Bank, has appointed Jeremy Kang as senior manager for FX in Singapore. The hire reflects the bankÆs increased focus on expanding its trading presence in Asia.

In his new post, Kang will work alongside Jeff Halley, running the Asian FX market making desk, and will report to Steven Braithwaite, Copenhagen-based global head of FX and fixed income trading.

"Jeremy brings 14 years of FX trading experience and will help grow our trading presence in Asia," says Braithwaite, noting his appointment reflects Saxo Bank's commitment to building a global business.

Kang, formerly a senior dealer with Bank of America in Singapore, and with Development Bank of Singapore, will take up his role on April 28 and will be based in Saxo BankÆs Singapore office.
