Linklaters has announced that Stuart Salt will relocate to its Hong Kong offices to take charge of its 65-strong banking and projects group in Asia. The newly created role sees Salt transfer from its London practice, commencing formally in Hong Kong on 1 May.
Presently, the London-based partner is Linklaters' global head of energy and a member of the global projects group. Most recently, he has been leading Linklaters' team on the $10 billion financing of Russia's Sakhalin II project - the world's largest project financing to date. He will continue to work on the project from Hong Kong.
