The equity capital markets pick up the pace while the debt capital markets remain silent

The equity capital markets picked up the pace this week with $459 million raised from eight issues, bringing total volume for the year so far to $62.9 billion. Goldman Sachs holds a clear lead in the league tables with $8.4 billion followed by UBS with $6.1 billion and Citigroup on $4.4 billion.

CapitaMall TrustÆs $255 million follow-on was the largest deal of the week. DBS and UBS ran the books.



Debt Capital Markets

The debt capital markets remained quiet for another week with zero trades. The market is set to stir back to life next week with US dollar deals for Woori Bank and Hana Bank expected to price shortly.
