Law firm names partner in its Tokyo major projects and project finance practice group.
David Vance has joined law firm Baker & McKenzie GJBJ Tokyo Aoyama law office from Skadden Arps. For his new employer he will work in the Tokyo major projects and project finance practice group as a partner.

To Baker & McKenzieÆs Tokyo operations, Vance brings broad experience in infrastructure project development, finance and M&A. His legal career has also seen him working on restructurings in Asia for multinational developers and financial institutions.

He crosses over from the Singapore offices of Skadden Arps, where he was counsel in its energy project finance and development practice. While at Skadden Arps, Vance was part of a multi-office team that advised the Thai Oil Public Company on its $788 million IPO in October 2004.
