Rothschild builds its investment banking team

The firm appoints Soh Ee Beng as its new head of investment banking for Singapore.
NM Rothschild has appointed Soh Ee Beng as its new head of Singapore investment banking. He will be based in Singapore and report to Mark Florance, head of investment banking for Southeast Asia.

In his new role, Ee Beng will be responsible for leading the investment banking group in Singapore, which includes building senior client coverage and origination, the bank says in a statement.

ôEe Beng has a solid understanding of the market and industry players, and we are confident our clients will benefit from his extensive knowledge and insightsö says Florance. ôSupported by his vast investment banking experience, he will expand and strengthen our senior coverage in the region.ö

Ee Beng joins the firm from BNP Paribas Capital, Singapore, where he was managing director and head of corporate finance execution for Southeast Asia. This meant he was responsible for coverage and execution of corporate finance transactions, with a primary focus on Singapore. Prior to BNP Paribas, Ee Beng worked for ING Investment Banking as a director within mergers and acquisitions in Asia.
