The equity capital markets perked up this week with $847 million raised from four issues û the highest weekly volume in four weeks. Citi continues to top the league table ranking by a wide margin with $5.1 billion, followed by UBS on $3.8 billion and Credit Suisse on $3.7 billion.
Tata MotorsÆ $824 million fully marketed rights issue accounted for the bulk of activity this week and was led by Citi, ICICI Bank, JM Financial and J.P. Morgan. J.P. Morgan remains in ninth place in the ranking with $2.7 billion.
Debt Capital Markets
The debt capital markets continued the two-month run of silence with zero trades this week. HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Citi sit in the top three league table spots with $2.6 billion, $2.2 billion and $1.6 billion respectively.
