The equity capital markets raised $1.9 billion via 17 issues this week, pushing year-to-date volume over the $162 billion mark. Goldman Sachs retained the top league table ranking, sitting on $16.4 billion from 37 deals Morgan Stanley narrowed the gap to stand on $16.1 billion while UBS rounded out the top three with $14.4 billion.
Bank of ChinaÆs $569 million accelerated bookbuild was the largest issue of the week and led by Morgan Stanley. The US investment house also ran the books for China Construction BankÆs $255 million bought deal.
