Another slow week in the equity capital markets.
Equity Capital Markets

Activity in the equity capital markets remained slow this week with only $50 million raised from nine issues, bringing total issuance for the year so far to $57.8 billion from 699 deals û a decline of 68% from the $168.6 billion raised in the comparable period last year.

Citi continues to head the league table ranking with $5.1 billion, followed by UBS on $3.8 billion and Credit Suisse with $3.7 billion.


Debt Capital Markets

The debt capital markets remained frozen with zero trades this week. The top three banks in the league table are HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Citi with $2.6 billion, $2.2 billion and $1.6 billion respectively.
