Dealogic League Table Round-up March 11

GF Securities continues leads the equity capital markets while HSBC leads the debt capital markets.

Equity Capital Markets

A total of $$989 million has been raised in the equity capital markets so far this week through 12 deals, down from the $3.4 billion raised in the same period last week.

The largest deal of the week is GEPIC Energy Development’s $278 million follow-on through sole bookrunner Southwest Securities and brings the regional Utility & Energy sector ECM volume to $2.3bn in 2016 YTD, up 32% year-on-year.

The top three banks leading the league table ranking remain unchanged with GF Securities with $4.8 billion in 2016 YTD, while CITIC Securities and Guosen Securities follow with $2.9 billion and $2.5 billion, respectively.

Debt Capital Markets

Six issuers have tapped the Asian G3 debt capital markets so far this week for a total of $6.0 billion, up from $1.4 billion raised in the previous week.

Asian Development Bank’s $3.0 billion trade through bookrunners JPMorgan, RBC Capital Markets, Nomura and Citi is the largest deal of the week and brings $19.1 billion, up 25% on $15.3 billion raised in the same period last year.

HSBC leads the G3 DCM bookrunner ranking in the region in 2016 YTD with $3.8 billion while Citi and Bank of America Merrill Lynch follow with $3.0 billion and $2.5 billion respectively.
