The equity capital markets stays afloat while PSA International boosts the debt capital markets.
Equity Capital Markets

Issuance in the equity capital markets dropped back to $408 million this week from 12 deals. Goldman Sachs remains firmly at the top of the rankings with almost $8 billion from 19 issues and is followed by UBS and Citigroup.

The $253 million accelerated bookbuild for South KoreaÆs Hyundai Engineering & Construction was the largest issue of the week. Morgan Stanley ran the books and climbed a place to fifth spot in the league tables with $3.1 billion from 23 issues.

Shimao Property HoldingsÆ $566 million IPO is scheduled to price next week. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners.

Debt Capital Markets

Three trades totalling $1.5 billion breathed life back into the debt capital markets this week and saw Morgan Stanley clinch first place in the league tables with $3.1 billion from eight trades. Citigroup was pushed down to second place and UBS to third.

Morgan Stanley nabbed the top spot on the back of PSA InternationalÆs $1 billion trade while JP Morgan nudged up to fifth place from sixth after bookrunning a $500 million deal for Bank of East Asia.
