Law firm sees private equity opportunities in region

Kirkland & Ellis, an international law firm known for its work in private equity deals, opens an office in Hong Kong

International law firm, Kirkland Ellis LLP announced Monday January 8 that it has opened an office in Hong Kong after receiving regulatory approval.

Private equity partner David Patrick Eich, who has relocated from London, will lead the office in the ICBC Tower of Citibank Plaza, in Hong KongÆs Central financial district.
