RBS promotes internally to strengthen China coverage

Royal Bank of Scotland announces the promotion of Lawrence Lam and Wayne Burdett.

Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed Lawrence Lam as head of global banking and markets in China, reporting to John McCormick, chief executive of Asia-Pacific for the global banking division.

Lam will be responsible for corporate, financial institution, government and public sector clients. He has dual responsibility for the bankÆs wealth management business in the region.
