Haskins leaves HSBC for Nomura

The Japanese bank dials up a new head of telecoms research.

Japanese bank Nomura has announced that Andrew Haskins has joined the firm in order to boost its regional telecoms research product. As head of regional telecoms research, Haskins will be based in NomuraÆs Asia headquarters in Hong Kong and manage telecoms thematic research in the region.

Haskins will report directly to Stewart Callaghan, the bankÆs head of Asia research division. His arrival at Nomura also represents the latest move by the bank to bolster its regional research product. In June,...
