Credit Agricole CIB names Martin HK head

The French bank named Francois Martin its senior country officer for Hong Kong in a newly created role.

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank named Francois Martin as its senior country officer for Hong Kong on Monday in a newly created role.

As the country head for Hong Kong, Martin will lead the overall business development and strategy of the bank’s activities in the city and will serve as head of coverage for Hong Kong-based clients.

Martin has more than 30 years' experience in the corporate and investment banking industry. He has been working at Crédit Agricole CIB since 1986 and has held various senior positions in Paris, New York and Warsaw.

Most recently, he was global head of the oil and gas sector, overseeing the bank’s oil and gas activities worldwide.

In his new role, Martin will report to Michel Roy, the senior regional officer for the Asia-Pacific region.
