FinanceAsia honoured outstanding achievements in Japan's financial markets at its annual awards ceremony in Tokyo on July 29.
Guests gathered at the Shangri-La to collect trophies honouring both outstanding deal-making and consistent good work by banks and other companies through the course of the year.
Big winners on the night included MUFG, which took Best Bank honours, and Morgan Stanley, which was named Best Foreign Investment Bank and Best Investment Bank, as well as Best M&A House.
Deals of the Year was the complex global IPO by Japan Post, Japan Post Bank and Japan Post Insurance.
