UBS draws on diplomacy with appointment of Allen

The former Australian consul-general in New York joins UBS in Sydney as senior adviser for Asia Pacific.

UBS Australia has hired Kenneth Allen as a senior adviser to the bank on policy and strategic issues in Australia, the US and China.

Between 2001 and 2006 Allen was the Australian consul-general in New York where he was responsible for representing the countryƆs interest in North-eastern United States.
