Some of Japan's most senior investment bankers and corporate executives joined us last week to celebrate the best deals of 2012, and to toast the firms that had the best year.
Much has changed since 2013 started, and most of it for the better. This is the eighth year that we have held our Japan Achievement Award's cocktails in Tokyo, once again at the Shangri-La Hotel, and the mood was brighter than ever this year thanks to the Bank of Japan's accommodative policy, which has fuelled a strong rally in the markets.
