North Asia Infrastructure Forum

Photographs from our recent one day event in Seoul.

Our first North Asian Infrastructure Forum in Seoul proved a well attended event. With around 200 industry participants and investors attending, the event was opened by keynote speakers In-Chul Park (Korea's Deputy Minister for Planning & Budget) and Young Chul Choi (Korea's Deputy Minister for Transportation Policy).

During the course of the day North Asia's infrastructure needs were discussed, and speakers looked at the innovative financing methods that could be employed. Key topics that emerged during the day included the increasing attraction of infrastructure funds to long term investors such as pension funds; the challenges of the Chinese infrastructure market; and the Korean government's approach to public private partnership policy.

The lead sponsor of the event was Macquarie and Allens Arthur Robinson was secondary sponsor.
