International broad-based law firm, Herbert Smith has appointed Bina Cunningham as senior consultant in the intellectual property (IP) and telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) team of its Hong Kong office.
Cunningham has over 10 years of experience in devising and implementing global IP and internet strategies for clients. Prior to this, she worked as head of the Asia IP/IT, media and sports practice at Denton Wilde Sapte's Hong Kong office since 1999. In addition, Cunningham was a partner at Willoughby & Partners in London before.
Head of Herbert Smith's Asia TMT practice, Nigel Francis, says, "Her expertise and experience will bring a great deal to our Hong Kong office and will allow us to build on existing strength as well as broaden the practice."
