e2 Capital launches neutral platform for share placements

A Softbank venture fund IPO is likely to be the first deal placed through the online platform.
OpenIBN (Greater China), a subsidiary of e2-Capital Holdings, has announced the launch of an online platform to increase the efficiency and transparency of the private share placement process. Targeted at broker firms and professional and non-professional investors, OpenIBN is a neutral platform designed as a communication tool to collect indicative interest from investors, many of whom would traditionally never have access to private placements and the placement tranches of initial public offerings.

“We’re also planning on extending it, later down the road, to private equity placements as well,” says S.J. Wong, CEO of both e2-Capital and OpenIBN Technology Holdings.
