AsianInvestor magazine will increase its frequency from six to 10 issues starting with the February edition in 2006.
The core coverage of the magazine will remain the same: bringing our readers comprehensive coverage of the asset management business in the Asia-Pacific region, from Tokyo to Mumbai.
We will continue to bring the same depth to topics such as pension reform, institutional investment trends, risk management, mutual funds, alternative investments, securities services, regulation and distribution.
In addition we will be expanding our coverage to write more about the insurance industry and its role in savings, pensions and investments.
Our daily online coverage of people moves, product launches, mandates and business strategy will continue and we will increase our e-mail newsletter frequency for AsianInvestor Online from bi-weekly to weekly.
This expansion to a monthly footing reflects the growth in the investment industry itself and the constant demand for up-to-date reporting on the major events and trends, says Jame DiBiasio, editor in Hong Kong.
A monthly format will also offer a more diverse format for helping sponsors communicate with or help educate the region's institutional and investment management participants.
AsianInvestor was launched in the fall of 2000 and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. It is a wholly owned unit of UK-based Haymarket plc.
