Deutsche appoints new country head

Deutsche Bank has appointed a new country head in Malaysia.

Hun Liang Kuah has been appointed CEO and managing director of Deutsche Bank Malaysia Berhad. The outgoing CEO, Erdmann Vogt, has decided to return to Germany, leaving Deutsche after 30 years with the bank.

Hun Liang Kuah joined Deutsche in 1989 and was formerly the head of global capital markets for Deutsche Bank in Malaysia, a position he has held since 1997.
