Equity and Debt Capital Markets keep up a steady pace.

The equity capital markets were buoyed this week by total issuance of $819 million from 13 deals. The league table rankings remain static with Goldman Sachs leading the field with $6.4 billion, followed by Citigroup and UBS.



The largest deal of the week was a $340 million IPO for Singapore's Prime Real Estate Investment led by DBS Bank, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan and Macquarie Securities. JPMorgan is ranked fifth in the league tables with $4.8 billion while Deutsche Bank sits in seventh place with $3.4 billion. Indonesian telecommunications group Excelcomindo Pratama raised $276 million via an IPO that was led by CIMB Securities.



The $192 million IPO for Jiangsu Yurun Food Group is set to price next week. Goldman Sachs and Guotai Junan Capital are the bookrunners.


Debt Capital Markets




Total volume in the debt capital markets ballooned to $2.2 billion this week on the back of two large deals. Deutsche Bank snared the top position in the league table rankings with $4.1 billion from 15 trades, while Citigroup and JPMorgan round out the top three. Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley printed a $1.75 billion deal for Temasek on Wednesday. The German house jumped to first place in the league tables from third last week while Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs re-entered the top 10 to take the eighth and tenth places respectively.



A $500 million deal for Industrial Bank of Korea was bookrun by Credit Suisse First Boston, HSBC and Morgan Stanley. HSBC climbed up a notch to fourth position in the league tables, also running the books with JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch on a $750 million trade for Korea Development Bank that was priced late last week.



A $150 million deal for Thailand's G Steel is scheduled to price next week with UBS as the sole bookrunner. Meanwhile, joint leads Barclays, Deutsche Bank and HSBC will kick off road shows for Bank of India's $250 million facility next Thursday.
