Standard Chartered appoints derivatives heads

The bank has hired a new regional head of interest rate derivatives and head of interest rate options trading.

Standard Chartered Bank has announced the appointment of Wei-jin Kua as regional head of interest rate derivatives, Southeast Asia, and Blair Ronald Kambar as head of interest rate options trading, Hong Kong.

Kua, who will be based in Singapore, will be responsible for the interest rate derivatives business in Southeast Asian currencies. He was formerly at Barclays Capital in Singapore where he held the position of director and head of Asia ex-Japan for interest rate derivatives trading and risk...
