Equity Capital Markets
The equity market continues to struggle and reached a standstill this week with the lowest issuance of the year - just $160 million. Next week, however, will see the year's largest deal, a $3.73 billion IPO for China Shenhua Energy, pricing on June 8.
Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and China International Capital Corp are bookrunners.
Debt Capital Markets
The week saw a faint ripple of activity with a $350 million trade for Thai Oil. Joint bookrunner ABN AMRO crept up the league table to eighth place with $538m, after dropping to the tenth spot last week.
UBS also ran the books and retained its fourth place ranking with $1.42bn from six deals.
