Renaissance Capital hires analysts in Hong Kong

Renaissance Capital hires three analysts in Hong Kong with expertise in resources as it starts to build an Asia research team.

Emerging markets investment bank Renaissance Capital has started building its Asia research team, hiring three Hong Kong-based analysts with significant sector experience.

The boutique firm is initially focusing on resources research. Matthew Whittall has been appointed head of Asian metals and mining research, effective June 1. Whittall joins Renaissance from UBS where he ran specialist resource sales. Previously he worked in the mining team at CLSA in Hong Kong where he headed up Australian coverage....
