Treasury appointments, March 22

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

HannStar Board International Holdings: Xu Yu Pei was appointed chief financial officer of the Hong Kong-based printed circuit board supplier on March 17. She replaced Chen Hui Lan who resigned on the same day. Xu was previously the accounting director at HannStar Board Technology, an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, and joined the company in 2004 from Shanghai Walsin Lihwa Power Wire and Cable where she was the chief accountant. She holds a bachelor degree from Shanghai TV University.

Oceanus Group: The Singapore-based aquaculture production and food and beverage company announced the appointment of Yap Siew Khim as CFO on March 16. She will replace Leong Koon Weng who will resign on April 30. Yap joined Oceanus Group from Springboard-Harper Investment where she has been CFO since 2006. In her new position she will be responsible for all finance and accounting, investor relations, business development, human resource management and information technology matters.

Welling Holding: Chen Jianhong was appointed CFO of the Hong Kong-based motor and electronic components manufacturer on March 15. He replaced Gao Fazhong who resigned on the same day. Chen holds a bachelor degree in economics from the Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and a master degree in administration from Fuzhou University.

Yong Xin International Holdings: The Singapore-listed high precision steel stripe manufacturer announced the resignation of Tan Gim Hwee as CFO on March 14. Tan will officially resign from his position on April 29. The company is in the process of finding a replacement.

Zhong An Real Estate: Cui Yuzhi resigned as CFO of the Hong Kong-listed property developer and hotel operator on March 21. He joined the company in June 2009 from Excellence Group and Treasure Holdings where he was also CFO. Cui holds a bachelor degree in applied physics from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
