Treasury appointments, October 19

A round-up of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

American Lorain Corporation: The China-based international processed snack and convenience foods manufacturer appointed chief accountant Lin Fu as interim chief financial officer on October 15. She replaced Jin Yilun who resigned on the same day. Lin holds a bachelor degree from Shandong University and assumes Jin’s responsibilities until a replacement is found.

Dart Energy: Martin Cooper was appointed CFO of the Australia-based coal bed methane developer on October 13 as part of the restructuring process after the company’s demerger from Arrow Energy. He was most recently the CFO of Australia-listed SciGen Group but has now relocated to Singapore and replaced interim CFO Shaun Scott.

Energy Development Corporation: The Philippines-based geothermal energy company appointed, with senior management recommendation, Nestor H Vasay as acting CFO on October 11. He replaced Regina Pia B Go who resigned on the same day. Vasay may be appointed as a permanent replacement, subject to the outcome of a board meeting in November.

Jackspeed Corporation: Chua Sze Chyi was appointed group financial controller of the Singapore-based custom leather products manufacturer on October 11. She was most recently an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the company.

K-Reit Asia Management: The Singapore-based commercial real estate investment trust appointed Eve Chan CFO on October 15. Chan has more than 18 years of experience in various corporate finance and treasury roles and holds a bachelor degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University. In addition she is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
