Treasury appointments, September 28

A round-up of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Bright International Group: The Hong Kong-based lighting and forestry products company appointed Chan Ka Wing chief financial officer on September 20. He has more than 13 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance-related roles and holds a bachelors degree in commerce from Concordia University. Chan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an associate member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

China Jishan Holdings: Wu Hui was appointed CFO of the Singapore-based garments and home textiles printing and dyeing services provider on September 24. He replaced Michael Jong Yeat Chin who resigned the previous day. Wu has more than 12 years of experience in accounting and finance-related positions, most recently as senior manager of corporate finance of New York-listed Suntech Power. He holds a bachelors degree in international trade and automation from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is a member of the Chinese Institution of Certified Public Accountants.

Hoe Leong Corporation: The Singapore-based heavy equipment and industrial machinery equipment designer and manufacturer appointed Chan Wee Kiat as financial controller on September 27. He will replace Tan Wee Boon who will resign on October 19. Chan joined Hoe Leong Corporation from Genesis Capital where he was an associate director and he will assume Tan’s financial function, tax and financial reporting responsibilities.

Lansen Pharmaceutical Holdings: Rebecca Pui Ling Yip was appointed interim CFO and company secretary of the Hong Kong-based autoimmune rheumatic diseases pharmaceuticals developer on September 25. Yip, a non-executive director of the company, will temporarily assume Chan Sheung Chi’s duties, following his resignation on the same day, while the company searches for a replacement.

Little Sheep Group: The Hong Kong-listed restaurant chain and catering service provider will appoint Wang Jianhai CFO on October 1. He will replace Wang Daizong who will resign on September 30. Wang is currently senior vice-president at the company and is responsible for financial management, information technology and business information systems. He holds a bachelors degree in corporate management from the Inner Mongolia Finance and Economics College and is in the process of obtaining a master of business administration at Inner Mongolia University.

ZZNode Technologies: Ting Pong Ming was appointed CFO of the Hong Kong-listed operational software support development provider on September 20. He has more than 10 years of accounting and finance experience and holds a bachelors degree in science and in law from the University of Hong Kong and Tsing Hua University respectively, and a master of business administration from Strathclyde University. In addition he is associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
