Treasury appointments, August 24

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

AsiaInfo-Linkage: The China-based telecommunications software and information technology security products and services provider appointed Michael Wu chief financial officer on August 16. Wu joined AsiaInfo-Linkage from iSoftStone Information Technology where he was CFO; he replaced Li Wei who resigned on the same day. Wu holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of International Business and Economics, and a masters degree from the City University of Seattle.

Asian Micro Holdings: Han Yee Yan resigned as financial controller of the Singapore-based natural gas-related products and services provider on August 16. Wong Wing Hei, the company’s accountant, assumed Han’s responsibilities and will serve as the company’s financial controller until a suitable replacement is found.   

Ausnutria Dairy Corporation: Lam Hiu Fung was appointed CFO and joint company secretary of the China-based and Hong Kong-listed paediatric milk formula product producer on August 17. Lam joined Ausnutria Dairy Corporation from Bloomage BioTechnology Corporation where he was financial controller. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition he is a chartered financial analyst, a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

China Precious Metal Resources Holdings: The Hong Kong-based investment holding company, with subsidiaries in gold mining and edible oil production, announced the appointment of CFO Dennis Chong Huang on August 17. Huang was previously the managing director of Synergy Capital International, a corporate finance advisory firm. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Marshall Business School and Leventhal School of Accounting. In addition, he is a certified public accountant of the US.

Sparkle Roll Group: Henry Wing Kai Mok was appointed CFO and company secretary of the Hong Kong-based company on August 16. He replaced Chan Ka Kit who resigned on the same day. He holds a joint masters of business administration degree from the University of Manchester and the University of Wales, and a masters degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Warwick. In addition, he is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Universal Travel Group: The China-based travel services provider appointed company secretary and director Xie Jing as interim CFO on August 17. He replaced Zhang Yizhao who resigned the previous day, and assumed all his responsibilities until a permanent replacement is found. Xie holds a bachelors degree in commerce from the University of Sydney.
