Leading executives in the Philippines joined us for a dinner in the elegant surroundings of the Conservatory at the Makati Peninsula Hotel in Manila on July 8 to celebrate the Philippine winners of our 10th annual Best Companies in Asia poll.We would like to thank local financial services firm ATR KimEng for sponsoring the event again this year. The awards were announced by our publisher Jonathan Hirst and presented by the three founding partners of ATR KimEng: Ramon Arnaiz, Manuel Tordesillas and Lorenzo Roxas.The winners were selected by polling investors and analysts across the region. Ayala Corp was again named the Best Managed Company, as well as the company with the Best Corporate Governance and Best Corporate Social Responsibility.
