Linklaters appoints new global head of litigation

Linklaters has appointed Hong Kong-based Marc Harvey as head of the firm's global litigation practice. He takes over from Françoise Lefèvre who is returning to full-time client work. 

Harvey is a leading litigation and arbitration practitioner, as well as co-head of the Greater China region at Linklaters. Some of his recent high-profile matters include representing the 16 "minibond banks" in the Securities and Futures Commission's minibond settlement and representing banks at legislative subcommittee hearings with regard to other structured products related to Lehman Brothers.

Harvey's experience covers multi-jurisdictional and domestic commercial litigation, international and domestic arbitration and regulatory investigations. His client base includes many of the world's and the region's largest financial institutions, corporations and professional service organisations.
