New hire to lead risk solutions for Barclays in Southeast Asia

Barclays Capital recruits Jacqueline Tan from ABN AMRO to head its Southeast Asia risk solutions group as part of a continuing enhancement of its regional investment banking presence.

Barclays Capital said yesterday that it has appointed Jacqueline Tan to a newly created position as head of the risk solutions group for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. She started work on December 2.

Tan was poached from ABN AMRO where she has held several positions since 1996, most recently as head of corporate risk solution sales for Asia, operating out of the Lion City. She also had an earlier spell at J.P. Morgan.
