UBS Japan hires new CEO and chairman

Toshiharu Kojima bails out of Citigroup Principal Investments to join UBS.

In a move which UBS Securities Japan is reportedly delighted about, the ailing Swiss bank has managed to attract a high-profile financier for its most senior role in Japan.

Toshiharu Kojima has left his vice-chairmanship at Citigroup Principal Investments to head up the totality of UBSÆs Japan operations.
