Keyes leaves Morgan Stanley for Merrill

The senior banker joins rival as head of corporate finance execution in the region.

Merrill Lynch has hired senior banker Terence Keyes from Morgan Stanley as managing director and head of Asia corporate finance execution, according to a source.

A spokesman at Morgan Stanley confirmed that Keyes, who is a managing director in the investment banking division in Asia-Pacific, will be leaving the bank. He is expected to join Merrill Lynch after three months of gardening leave.
