HSBC kicks off private banking service in China

HSBC China marks its first anniversary with the launch of its private banking business.

HSBC China celebrated the first anniversary of its local incorporation in China by officially launching its HSBC Private Banking business yesterday. This business will offer personalised wealth-management services to high-net-worth individuals and their families on the mainland.

HSBC China received approval from the China Banking Regulatory Commission CBRC to offer the new service in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
