Citi's Shah to take on the region's richest

Citi moves Akbar Shah from the Middle East to head its mega-wealth business in the Asia-Pacific region.

Citi continues to strengthen its wealth management team in the Asia-Pacific, appointing Akbar Shah to a newly created position, head of the mega-wealth business.

Shah will be based in Singapore and will report to Kaven Leung, chief executive officer of Citi global wealth management in the region.
